1) INITIAL INSPECTION

Your insurance carrier will advise you to contact a professional roofing contractor, such as Avid Restoration, for an initial inspection to verify suspected damage is enough to warrant an insurance claim. When we provide our damage assessment, our goal is to aid you in better understanding your insurance policy coverage, deductible amounts, and out of pocket expenses if the claim is approved.

2) FILING INSURANCE CLAIMS

Once the damage is assessed and there is a confident understanding of claim coverage, your claim will need to be started with the insurance carrier. Avid Restoration has extensive experience in assisting homeowners with the information needed to initiate a claim with the insurance carrier.

3) INSURANCE INSPECTION

Once the claim is filed, a claim number will be issued to the homeowner. A licensed adjuster from your insurance carrier will then schedule an inspection. It is always beneficial to have a professional roofing contractor, such as Avid Restoration, attend the inspection to ensure all damage is accurately assessed, and the homeowner receives an accurate and fair evaluation. In our experience, it is more efficient to address all storm-related damage onsite, rather than after the fact.

4) INSURANCE CARRIER SCOPE DETERMINATION

Once the insurance carrier’s inspection is complete, the adjuster will provide an estimate for repairs. While the insurance estimate may be a challenge to understand, your project manager will review the estimate with you for a comprehensive understanding of the scope of coverage. We will then finalize your custom plan for choosing quality materials to complete the project outlined by the insurance carrier.

5) ROAD TO RECOVERY

As soon as the claim and specifications are finalized, Avid Restoration will commence work in accordance with the executed contract. Your project manager will offer a high level of communication during this process to inform our homeowners of material delivery, production dates, along with city and county inspections. Once the work is complete, your Project Manager will do a walkthrough with you to ensure 100% satisfaction. Our goal is to make the entire claim process as stress-free as possible, and restore your home to better than pre-storm condition!
